On this site I show you the best ways for bloggers and webmasters to make money on the internet.

Make money on the internet

Nowadays making money online is not that hard anymore. There are bloggers out there who make a living of the internet earning $30.000 and more. And the best thing about that is: Everyone can do that! You don’t need any special skills or huge fundings, all it takes is work and time.
Here I will now show you some ways on how to make money through your blog or website including the benefits of each method.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing is a great method to earn a nice slice of money for blogs and websites. Just like with every way to earn money on the web, you need some traffic on your blog or website. Without visitors the best money making method is just useless.

There are a lot of so-called “affiliate networks” out there making the search for affiliate programs easier. Some websites also have a in-house service you can find on their website.

Benefits

  • easy to use
  • can make you a lot of money
  • huge number of affiliate programs available

Own Products

This is probably the best way to make money online: Own products. At first this might sound a bit hard and a lot of work but it really isn’t. Well, it DOES involve some work in the beginning but if made good, this will bring you money a long time without doing any work anymore. This is a so-called “passive income”.

Still don’t know what I mean? I’m not talking about inviting some hardware product or something like that (if you have the skills and want to, you can do that too!), what I’m talking about are digital products such as eBooks, podcasts, guides and videos.
While recording podcasts or videos is definitely not for everyone, writing eBooks or guides is something anyone can do.

“But I’m not an book author!” – That’s fine and you don’t need to be one! You can write about something you know a lot about (or something you are interested in and you can research) like “How to make money Online”, “Guide to softwareXY” or “How to sell cars”. People downloading eBooks or guides like that don’t want to read a good story, they want a how-to, a guide – they want information. And for providing information you don’t need to be an book author. Having a nice book design, a lot of information to share and the ability to not produce errors non-stop is enough.
Once you created your product, you can use a service like ejunkie.com to sell it for you. Create a website for it and start driving traffic to it. If your site ranks good on search engines, after some time you don’t have to do anything and it still brings you income.

Benefits

  • it’s easy – even if initially some work is required
  • gets you high and steady income for a long time
  • almost no investment needed

Direct Marketing

This is definitely something for blogs or websites who already have some traffic. Direct marketing means selling ad-spaces directly to the advertiser which brings you full control over which ads are shown on your site and – the best thing – you can keep 100% of your earnings. The drawback here is you first have to already have some traffic on your site and you need to find someone who wants to advertise on your website.

Benefits

  • you have full control over the ads shown on your site
  • you can keep 100% of your income, meaning more money/sale
  • if working out good for the advertiser, you have a steady income

Paid Articles

If you own a blog, paid articles is another way to earn some money. Companies pay you to write a post about their product or service. This needs to be done very careful, as making too much of this posts might frighten your users if you try to “hide” paid articles. A better way is to state at the top or bottom of the article that this is a paid article.

Benefits

  • if done on a regular basis it brings a nice income
  • fills your website with additional content while bringing income

PPC – Pay Per Click Advertising

Pay Per Click is probably the most used way to earn money. And it’s not that bad either. It requires you only to integrate a code of an ad network, the rest is done on auto-pilot.

A drawback here is, that the pay per click prices are very different and often are very low. If you have a lot of traffic and optimized your site for click traffic, this still is very profitable. You always have less control over the ads shown on your website compared to direct marketing.

Benefits

  • easy to use – once integrated almost no work
  • very good income on high-traffic sites

Subscriptions

This also can be a very good way to earn money. If you have a website, you can offer a subscription for your users. One way to do this on a blog would be having basic articles for the public, and premium articles for subscribers. While this might be a bit harder to take off, it really can pay on the long run.

Benefits

  • you can keep 100% of your earnings
  • with a loyal userbase, it can be a steady income – month for month
